Come to Norton and I'll take you for a ride. The tundra is a beast and has a ton of room. I found my knees hit the dash in the gm trucks. At least on my brothers 2012 Sierra.

Erik, what's your MPG's like on the new Tundra (and do you actually make an effort to get decent mileage or drive it like you stole it)? You have the 5.7 right? I remember that engine being a beast when I test drove one.

Because I'm going into commercial diving. As in diving in water, not commercial DRIVING with a truck.

My family all didn't think umass was a good idea for me, so I bailed. Now my dad thinks diving is a bad idea. I wish he would shut the fuck up and let me do my own thing for once.

He's lucky I'm still in the fucking house and he's getting my $424 every week from child support.

I get 17.5 mpg. 35 mile one way commute up 495 to route 9. I don't make an effort to get good mileage and just drive like I want to. I don't really punch it everywhere I go but I do every once in a while.

They haven't had the 4.7 since 09. It was replaced by the more powerful 4.6. You can still get it just not in the crewmax. I rode in Denis' before I got mine and it is a nice engine.

GM vehicles are usually pretty roomy. I'm 6'5". I was pretty comfortable in the showroom models I've sat in. I've always liked GM, but with all the recalls they've had, I don't know about getting one now.

    Ohhh didn't know that.

I'd wanna get a single cab 5.7 and cut the frame short to fit a short bed on it, then get the TRD SC on it haha. That would be a fun project

Those Hemi's really do excel at 4 things:
    1) Towing
    2) Burning Rubber
    3) Sounding Awesome
    4) Drinking Fuel

I test drove one when I was truck hunting. Loved the power, but I'm sure I would have hated the gas mileage. Especially since it'd be hard to keep my foot out of the throttle just so I could hear that V8 rumbling.

Yeah, they lost their appeal to the council last night. :(

    http://www.sunjournal.com/news/lewiston-auburn/2014/08/06/unhappy-trails-lewiston-road-park-and-shooting-range-loses-appeal-stay-open/1570779

Lame. So much crap that needs doing in the city of Lewiston, and the council is wasting their time dicking around with crap like this.
Gil Arsenault complains publicly all the time that they don't have enough staff on the payroll to keep up with the complaints coming from the tenements in downtown, but they've got time to go after Don for something that brings money into the city.

Depends. I was lifted and still getting 20 MPG with my Tacoma. The lift itself doesn't really do much, it's the tires that do the damage.

    But my Tacoma's not lifted...

The Dodge I test drove (2010 4x4 Crew Cab) was EPA rated for 13 city/15 highway, in stock configuration. With the heavy throttle I'm sure I'd have had I'd probably be looking closer to 10-12.

On the other hand, my Tacoma (still in stock configuration) gets 19-21 on the summer Dunlops, and 17-19 on the winter Duratracs.
