Grey wire and keyless entry. I like stock.
OEM is good, but I'm a big fan of Mann all the way. They don't make anything less than OEM spec. Just put one on my 2001 3.4 and it was an easy peasy install.

See you're from Southeast Utah. Just got my first taste two weeks ago. We did some offroading in Moab, saw Arches, Canyonlands, Capitalreef, Bryce, and Zion. Arches was my personal favorite. Actually getting to rockcrawl was a close second. We really just get to play in the mud in Tennessee. BIG difference being in a dry heat, compared to Tennessee in August.

right on! this area is pretty spectacular. Glad you enjoyed! Living here is the whole reason I own a truck. Can't get enough of weekend adventures.

As for the heat, I am originally from the east as well (Baltimore, MD). I can't really tell the difference: the sun kills no mater what. But in terms of recreation, it is nice to hardly ever have to worry about long-lasting bad weather (just the occasional flash flood).

Just curious, but where specifically do you live? We stayed in Moab, St. George, & Hatch.

I put a wix on mine and its just fine, doesnt leak either. Hardest part is the hard lines to and from the filter so it helps to have an extra hand trying to line up the threads.

I was buying parts from Rock Auto to do a tune up and they had a WIX filter so that's what I got. The filter should be replaced annually (especially where I live with the dirty gas we have) since it's easy to do and easy to access just get whatever is cheaper. So I know I'll get at least a year out of mine then change it next summer.
