And ya $70 is ridiculous but it needed to be done.. Kinda weird having a door that wants to stay open now at a certain point after dealing with it swinging freely and hitting you all the time for so long..

    Rotated tires
And lastly took out my spacers and holy sht those things caused a lot of wheel vibrations. Highway speed is way smoother now!

Yeah, I was a little worried, but I kept gettgin the same single part #, and the ebay description said it fit both sides. If you look closely near the end that attaches to the door jab, there is an L on one side, flip it over, R on the other. So reversible.
LOL. I was getting so pissed it was ridiculous. The street at the new house has a high crown, and the evening breeze comes straight at the front of the truck. I've been dropping F-bombs every time I come home.

Every local dealer I tried was $104, $115, $125. It isn't exactly something you want to buy used from salvage, either. I considered $76 a bargain after calling dealers.

Thanks for the responses. Im going to have to stop by the dealership and get another gasket. Will any sensor gasket be okay so long as I use the OEM sensors?

Did you do your topper that color? I want to paint my truck that green, think this would be a good option? Instead of going to maccoo. Also did you sand and primer?

Sherwin Williams will also color match and put it in an aerosol can for you.

Get their base coat and then buy the two-part automotive clear coat.

Works very well. Considering you bought the topper for peanuts you can spend around $80 for supplies that will match very well.

Just clean and lightly sand what's on there now and you should get pretty good mechanical adhesion.

Gah I know! That's what I was thinking, black would look pretty cool. If I don't get it color matched I will be sure to go that route

Thanks for letting me know that Sherwin Williams does that. Do you happen to know the cost per a can of doing that?

Does anyone have the clear 4runner A/C control panel that would be willing to pull it off and tell me the part number off of it? I've been getting some inconsistincies from my searching for one and am trying to verify it isn't the same as our orange one that comes on the taco.

In other news, don't try removing the orange paint with acetone. You will remove most of the panel haha

I'd think any cost would be worth getting rid of that Tin Man silver. You already have a silver base cost so you wouldn't need much of the right color to get good coverage.

No I was lucky to find my topper on craigslist already painted my color. However I did use it on my roof, the roof was almost pure white from a fading clear coat. I just sanded it and sprayed it than cleared. I've always been told that a scuffed base or clear coat makes the best primer.

Just picked up a spindle/hub from wrecking yard & heres a tid-bit of info that will help anyone that needs to replace theirs...

late 90's 4runners/ 1st gen Tundras / Sequoias all use the exact same spindles, had I known this before it'd saved me alot of time & frustration,

I had asked around earlier in my search but no one had any input....
