    Buddy of mine had a white, slammed standard cab pickup (pretaco) and he ran moons on it briefly.
    Dunno, it kind of worked. He also had pinstriped flames on the hood and fenders.
    Was a daily for the guy, he was a big musclecar nut.

    The photo in DrFunker's post shows the problem with fitting them to the OEM base cab wheels: No space for the retainer ring teeth to grab a hold of the steel wheel. The wheels on the truck are the strangest I have seen, almost flush center with the edge of the rim. That's why I mentioned the other type of cap, which uses 3 screws into the rim to hold them on. Not as clean of course, but could work on the Tacoma wheels,...... so I asked.
