The state park has the best off-roading. You really need to spend the night to experience it all plus lots of extra fuel. Just be prepared for freezing nights if you go during the winter.

The national park has some off-road trails that are easy to access from paved roads.

Too poor to list anything interesting.
Don't expect to see many vehicles. Both parks are big. So if you get in trouble, you may be there for a while. We didn't see the rangers in the NP until 6 days after we were there and they were just checking permits.

The more and more I see these prank videos, the less I'll be shocked when someone gets killed.

Seriously. When did pranks become so idiotic? This must be the new planking.

I know. I was at the SP on Christmas day about 4 years ago. Not a soul in sight. I didn't have 4wd back then so I just stayed on most of the 2wd high clearance trails.

We were there the week between Christmas and New Years. Not many there. And I was hoping for some snow. Nothing too crazy mind you, just a little. The views out there were amazing. Some of the best stargazing I've seen while I camped in the bed of my truck.

One of my friends has some property about an hour or so outside of the park next to the river, so I may be making another trip out there for shenanigans. :drevil:

All I know is, even if you're recording and it's a prank. You touched the other people first. That's why you don't see pranks in texas! Lol

That prank video pisses me off. First, the dumb shits should not be in the hood doing stupid pranks like that. Second, in some of the pranks most of the guys being pranked have no right to act the way they do. So what if i take a picture of you, that doesn't give you the right to throw down. Fuck all of them.

Well, if you plan on going in December let me know. I would like to go back. I just don't want to wheel alone out there.
