    The extension doesn't cover that. Only the burn or crack on the turn lens.

    So i just installed my new cb and antennta. For some reason I can't get it tuned below 2.6 on 1 or 40. What could be the problem? I don't have a spring but was about to order one. All the grounds are good and the antenna isn't grounding itself.

    Got the 4ft Firestik firefly with tunable tip. I am using famous fabs taillight mount so it should be grounded but I didn't check. There is a ground connection between the cb cable and the frame though

    Doors closed in an open as a field as I could get. There was a plastic fence about 20 feet on either side

    From what I've been told you have plenty of antenna above the cab but by the tail Light is not an ideal location, with that said there are guys running it there with no problems.

    I just ordered a spring I see if that works. I may also grab a new cable. The one I have is a couple of years old so it may be damaged. Thanks for the help
