Norcal Spotted and BS Thread

Trinity Lakes Spring time this year.

The drought affects us all, including those that appear to have enough. Unfortunately, we have a water delivery system that is antiquated at best and leaks more water as a whole system than some small communities consume annually.

 

Everything is low. Tahoe 2 weeks ago and Truckee River was ankle deep, knee deep in the deepest section of where I was which is the same area that the rafting companies normally shoot through. Pretty sure they cancelled all rafting trips last week for the season. Really a shitty spot to be in, I hope this coming fall/winter/spring isn't a repeat of last years, next summer will be REALLY interesting.

 

Does anyone know where I can nuts and bolts plated?

 

Does anyone know I good place where I can test out my roof top tent?

 

Damn the droughts no joke then. Maybe I'll just kayak at Folsom then. Anyone got a recommended launching spot or anything? Or so you think a trip to Tahoe at zephyr cove or whatever would be better?

 

Tahoe is always a better choice.

Who lives on Oak Grove in Walnut Creek? I drive by on occasion and see a heavily Plasti dipped 2nd gen extra cab. Figured it had to be someone on here

There are some parts (UCA's and such) that I'm looking to pick up but Pollock is way too far for me. I have a friend in Sac that can bring them down to me though.

You and your constant part buying lol. When do they have to get picked up by? My girlfriends coming up to meet my parents while I'm here so I'll be busy until Tuesday and flying out wed. I may be able to Tuesday but no guarantees.

 

I live by Oak Grove but I'm a 4 door. I see a silver extra cab down by bevmo quite a bit.

Haha yeah I know, but I need UCA's bad and he has some nice extras in the deal. No need to make a big deal out of your way, just figured if it's convenient and someone drives through Pollock and down to Sac.

 

And he can't drive up and get them?!?!? Its not that far
