My Seat Concepts seat and taillight shipped out today. Hopefully it'll be here soon.

Got the mirrors and goggles in today. Plan to finish up installing the hand guards and get the mirrors thrown on there and see how well they work.

Yeah, it'll all depend on what hand guards you have. They'll all be different...

Are you sure it's a dual sport helmet then? Haha

This is how mine can work....

I have the same helmet and have never run goggles. I haven't really ridden in dust though so goggles might be good in that situation. Otherwise the face shield protects my face just fine.

I think the goggles are a good compromise for when it's hot, that way I can leave the face shield up when cruising but not get dirt in my eyes. Sunglasses don't protect your eyes for crap haha

On my helmet having the face shield up the first little click/setting allows enough ventilation for me without getting dirt in my eyes. It might not be the same for you though. Having ridden dirt bikes my whole life I can say that goggles can fog up really bad when it's hot out. What goggles did you get?

Mine will function just like that but the clear visor probably doesn't allow enough room to fit the goggle straps under

I've tried just lift the shield up one click for ventalation, but I just like having the visor up so much better.

They're nothing special, but from what I read they're great for the price and don't fog up.

Looking at getting a couple extra lenses if I like the goggles...

So then it doesn't work? Haha

Remove clear visor - use goggles

Remove goggles - reinstall clear visor

What are you not getting here? I don't see a point in using both, that'd be wayyyyy to hot

The fact that you said you can't use both, I said that mine can, then you said that yours will function just like that, which it can't.

The point of being able to use both is so you can get better ventilation while still keeping dirt out of your eyes, but if you're on the highway or it begins to rain you can just throw down your visor and you're good to go.

I'm not telling you to go try anything, I honestly don't care. Your statement just didn't make sense.

I'm willing to bet that it will work though. All dual sport helmets that I've seen in person have the appropiate amount of space to allow for the face shield to fit over the strap.

Yeah, plus my sunglasses slowly start to rise up as I ride because the foam/mesh stuff begins pushing down on them.
