    Ill be there for sure... but how busy is this weekend? Personaly I hate thanksgiving weekend, too many people, too many cops, too many dumbasses.. it just creates a stressful driving experience..

    You will be glad you went before all the mayhem starts, the dunes will be smooth and predictable. not crowded which makes for driving a truck a better experience and like you said not tons of cops.

    Permit is required for the vehicle accessing the dunes, meaning (vehicle in tow or quads or bikes don't)

    But Don't do this.

    Don't Drive unsafe or reckless or drinking
    Don't Have a Blue rear light
    Don't speed near camps or where posted 5mph.
    Don't bring bottles or make it apparent you have them.
    Be registered.
    Have a Flag!
    No fire pit explosives.
    Helmets on everything except plated vehicles and sandrails.
    Don't have site trashy and leave site clean.
    Don't be that guy! hah

    even with all that said its still a great time!

    Your 4wd you will be fine on 99% of the stuff the other guys will be doing in there trucks. The only one that dunes there truck is erick. Shit im only mid travel and made it to the top of olds when the full long travel 2wd guys couldent(rj,krish,blang) lol 4wd is key
