Wet Okole console cover question

I am getting ready to order my wet okoles and have questions about the console cover. The cover is $20 as I am not waiting for group buy, I am curious if those that have the cover are satisfied with the fit. In the past I read most threads about the wo's and it seemed like there were a few complaints about the fit affecting closing or the latch, also wrinkles and need to readjust often was mentioned. I have a 2012 and would like to have it bit not if there are these problems. Any input with cover issues appreciated as I hate to waste $. Thank you.

 

I have the WO console cover, and while the design is pretty simple, it fits perfectly enabling me to access the latch, open and close the cover with ease.
Since I often the use the console for an arm rest, the extra padding provided by the cover is welcome.

 

I've had the wet okole's for about a year and a half now and never had a problem with the console cover, it really does fit like a glove and I put my elbow on the console every time I get in.....and I would say it just finish's the interior!....my .02

 

So you "hate to waste $" by risking $20 on a console cover but don't want to wait a month for the group buy and save around $100??? I'm not following your logic here......

 

Thanks to all for replies, I will plan to order cover. To better explain myself I was just trying to be proactive and not order something (irregardless of cost) I would be disappointed with. Several months ago when I was considering the WO's I remember reading about some fitment issues and am just making sure it is not a problem. I can currently order the covers in the configuration I want from AA with 20% off and free shipping so price is pretty much a wash for me (free ship vs. free cover) and I will receive them much sooner.

There's a guy here on TW that makes console covers for 1st and 2nd gens. I like mine and fitment/ quality is good. I think his TW name is "blueinstinct"

 

I have the cover and am happy with it. In fact when I ordered the okole seat covers for my wifes Rav 4 I ordered a console cover for hers as well.

 

I have been thinking about ordering Wet Okoles from AutoAnything (20% off and free shipping). I e-mailed Wet Okole about the center console cover (you can't order it through AA) and they responded that the console cover is included when you order the front covers. Hmmmmmm.... Not sure I believe that, as on Wet Okole's web-site it's optional.

So, for those of you that have ordered seat covers from AA, is the console cover included?

 

I agree certain products the group buy discount is not that much different than % off code with free shipping if you spend a certain amount of money. I have found this true with Wet Okole and Auto Anything. Wait a couple of three days after just pricing on Auto Anything web page and they will send you several deals on product you were pricing with a % off code and free shipping.

 

I'm a little late, but no problems with mine.

 

I just ordered wet okoles from autoanything 8-9 via telephone. When I asked the phone csr about ordering the console cover he informed me he thought it was included. I thought this was incorrect and had him check further and it is not included (sounds like it is a throw in with certain models). When I went to the wo website the cover is optional and $20. I know in past TW group buys the cover has been free.

 

I know its been 5 years since the last post, but I can confirm that when you buy the WO seat covers from AA, they include the console cover too.
