That was cool of him to give you a hand. And it looks awesome Ost. Now all it needs is some road sign scratches to add character. :D

Thanks guys. It seemed awfully sturdy when we were installing it. It still looks weird to me since I'm used to chrome.

    Agreed. Hate chrome.

    Thank you sir.

Good one. I thought the bumper looked kind of plain w/o them so I was planning to order up a couple & the sure actually had one already he threw in so I slapped it on. It'll look more balanced when the other one is on & then TWO trucks can tow me back to the start line. :D

Beef prices are silly right now. We were living high on the hog for a few months at the beginning of summer when King Soopers kept having bone-in ribeyes fir $5.99/lb. Now 'sale' price is nearly double that. I haven't smoked a single beef brisket this summer because I refuse to pay $80+ for a packer brisket.

That's why I buy in bulk. I'm almost out but I will be ordering 1/4 of a cow, 1/2 of a pig and 1/4 buffalo soon. Hopefully I get an elk this year too.

Depends on what kind of riding and how many days.

Texas creek is awesome, lots of different trails. Tarryal is fun and an area you can ride wide open. Lots of stuff off of left hand canyon outside of boulder up into Lyons with the Switzerland trail area.

I don't know how long it will be. Like a week most likely. We'll probably want different types of riding. We're going riding as a memorial so we probably want all types of riding.

Texas creek is outside of canyon city and has rock crawling, dry river bed, mountain passes, water crossings and it's close to other riding areas.

My buddy in NE raises cattle as well as grows corn (among other things on his 2k acres) so you can guess which kind of beef we prefer. ;)

I will sometimes get a half side of beef but most of the time it's more convenient to just go to the store and grab a couple cartons of meat instead and King Soopers tends to have the best beef around here if you're careful to select which ones you buy.

Yeah I have 3 freezers and a deep freeze I like to stay stocked up. I prefer straight from the farm to the butcher over store bought... I've worked in the supermarket bizz in college and there is a reason fresh is a different color than store bought. But I know you know that. I'm not saying I don't eat store bought because I do every week but I prefer it the other way.
