2014 NCAA Football Thread

isn't there a new movie coming out about Oregon football?

 

De La Salle high school. One of their players who was a 5 star CB was killed by gang violence his senior year. He was a kid who avoided all of that stuff and had signed to Oregon.

 

Does anyone on here stream games on an iPad or phone? If so how and what service do you use? I signed with U verse right before direct tv announced their agreement with the SEC network and was impressed that I could stream most of my channels. Couldn't stream anything live on direct. But now I've noticed certain channels don't show up on my app now so I'm trying to understand and learn what I can stream and I don't understand why some channels now have disappeared? I just don't want to get into the season and find out I can't stream any games. I have 30 days to cancel and direct has pretty much offered me an equivalent deal. Pic quality is better with direct so if I can't stream with U verse then I might want to go back with direct. Any input is greatly appreciated.

 

CBS sports has an app and they'll stream games on their website too. Look into ESPN 3 and the WatchESPN app.

Didn't know about the CBS app but have used the ESPN one but they changed it to where you have to log in with your provider and Direct tv wasn't listed the last few times I tried so I couldn't get on it. I can now as a U verse customer however.

I just had probably the funniest football argument with some guy ever. He was trying to say that FSU has no football tradition compared to the sec, but he was arguing a conference versus a team which is ridiculous. Said he doesn't even have a favorite team he just roots for the whole sec because they are the best.

 

Dude sounds like a douche.

 

He is. The saddest part is he isn't even going to an sec school.

 

FSU wanted to let the fans ask Jameis questions on Twitter. It turned out disastrous. And was ABSOLUTELY hilarious.

that's some of the funniest stuff I've ever seen. I'm pretty sure FSU fans and ESPN analysts are the only ones that like Winston.

 

Whether you're an FSU fan or not, that stuff is hilarious. How did they not expect that to happen?
