True dat. I've been eye balling a Yamaha 6500 inverter. 63 decibels max. 200lbs . Power my fridge and then some.

 

There was actually a guy from manoa selling those exact taillights. Was thinking about it for a bit but dont like da chrome on da leds.

 

they fit the same, from 09+ they switched to LED brake lights and might have changed it around for 2013+

but the housing and bulb connections are identical from 05

 

I actually did have a tree fall in my yard when I woke up.. it was in a pot, and the roots had already broken through the bottom so the whole thing wobbled, but that is besides the point. ..

Yamahas are nice. Years ago had a line on one of those 3000+ pretty much brand new that was already converted for propane, but I wanted a smaller unit for camping and such. It was between a honda eu2000i, the Yamaha 2000 or the Yamaha 2400. Didn't feel confident the Yamaha could handle the regime refrigerator surge, and the 2400 is still a bit heavier than the eu, so ended up with the eu..

edit : don't forget, the bigger the genny, the more had you need even to have it running. .m

On one hand would love to make use of it in an emergency, on the other hand how I don't need to. ...

 

Ron...do you need one that big? Why not just a 2000? I've been reading a lot on them, and unless you plan on running central A/C in your house, do you need a 6500?

The "Spec-D Tuning" tail lights on Amazon are Depos. I ordered those. No problems with them yet.

 

Its been on CL for a few months. Just keep getting emails from the same guy with a new trade every time. He's sent my like 6 different emails so far lol

I'm a camera assistant. One of my jobs is to wack sticks together in front of the camera. It's a fun job but always away from the truck. I have a pile of parts just waiting for me to install.

 

I thought that was more of a paid vacation

 

They haven't changed since the second gen started. I just put the same ones on my new 2014.

 

Trying to find a color matched grill. Online just charges way too much for shipping. Anyone got a cheaper solution besides painting it? Any Oahu shops willing to ship to maui? Thanks yall

 

Bro...honestly...purchasing a color matched grill from the mainland plus shipping would cost more than just taking your grill to a local body shop and having them spray it for you..

 

Thanks for the quick response. Yeah I think so too. Hard part is finding a decent place on Maui. We lack a few variety here...
