ImMrYo rear view mirror riser bracket. It's amazing how much I wasn't seeing before this simple mod. Well worth the cost.

Sorry, this is the only other photo I have and it is a bit dark. When I built the seat brackets for the back I kept them as low as possible since head room back there is an issue. They sit about the same as the OE back seat, just a bit more leg room because the front seats are not as big as the OE seats.

They are Corbeau LG1 seats, you can buy front seat brackets from Corbeau that bolt right in but the rear seat brackets are some work. You have to order an extra set of front seat brackets with slide rails and cut all the legs off and design / weld your own legs onto the brackets. You will also need to weld in mounting points to the front of the rear platform IE: a steel plate with a threaded nut. The rear bolts for the seat brackets you will have to drill through the floor of the truck and use grade 8 bolts and fender washers etc. I had to drop the gas tank to mount the rear drivers side bracket, the inside rear bolt ends up above the gas tank.

I integrated my entire set up into the OE storage trays. I cut the " tubs " out of it a made a fiberglass box that fits behind it, same for my amp rack. The audio set up was done 6 or 7 years ago, I just re carpeted it to match the new carpet I put in the truck. You have to be really careful with leg room in the back so keep it thin behind the seats. I am considering re doing the entire audio set up so that it blends into a rear center console. The SQ is great the way it is now so it would purely be a cosmetic change.

I have hunting labs (presently down to one) and wanted to maximize the space in the rear of my DCSB's cab to create a place where two labs would be comfortable on long rides on unusually hot or cold days. So I measured it out and had a custom cushion created that fits perfectly on the hard plastic platform that is created when the rear seats are folded down.

To add weight and rigidity to the cushion I used a 3/4" thick rubber horse-stall mat as the base layer. The weight of this big piece of rubber prevents the cushion from blowing around when all the windows are down. To make the mat more comfortable, I went to a foam cushion supplier and purchased a 1" thick piece of medium density foam to be used as the top layer. Then I took the cut-to-size piece of rubber and foam to a boat cushion company and had them make me a moisture/dirt resistant, removable, washable cushion cover of marine grade material.

To see the pad in person, one might think that it was a factory option. It matches the interior perfectly and it is just as functional as it is eye-appealing; and it is easily large enough to allow two dogs to get comfortable. Total cost $125.

I love this. I have a Vizsla that I take to the beach every day and boy, does he like to get dirty! I am going have one of these made too. The only thing I am going to change, however, is to have it made as a 2-piece deal (60%/40%) and pieces will be attached to each other with velcro flaps. This way when I need to use one of the seats in the back, I can detach the 40% piece and use that seat. As the matter of fact, I am heading to the feed store to get a horse stall mat right now (thanks for the write up)!
