    I'd like to install a 400-600 watt inverter and an outlet in the bed of my 2014 sr5 DCSB
    I've searched forum didnt really see any guides. Any kind souls feel like helping?

    No ones ever done this here I guess retro fit oem inverter

    I got my first 4x4 in 1972...haven't been without one! I still like Chrome!
    I put an 800 in my reg cab. I ran my wires from my starter and a ground near the starter up under the center console. There were two rubber plugged holes already under there, on top of the transmission. I put in grommets and ran the heavy wires into the cab.
    I made a bracket to bolt my inverter to, and also bolted it down in about the same place a factory one would go.I put a switch in my dash that switches a relay to power the inverter. Its a heavy relay like one used on a starter. I bought a new 12-3 size extension cord, covered it with that corguated plastic stuff and ran it to the back and up into one of my storage boxes.
