It's going  think I'm gonna have to break down and get my knee checked out. Other than that, no complaints.

How's work? Any luck on a different one?

:yay: good deal you can work around it.

Is he doing that bad, that he can't afford to keep his promises? or is he just a db? Hope it all works out at the interview.

:anonymous: x2 I forgot you'd done the deed

    I'm leaning towards option two....

He keeps telling me we aren't making money on this job we are doing for his friend because he priced the job to have him working there onsite... So I asked why isn't he there on site and he gave me a bunch of excuses. I asked if it's my fault that we aren't making money (am I going too slow, etc etc) and he said no, I'm doing well. I don't get it

Going on ^, I'd have to vote for option 2 as well.

A stepping stone, that's all this job is... It will lead to something better for you.

You'll find a good one soon.

A boss can make or break a job. I've worked for GREAT bosses and lousy bosses. Some can make it really hard to want to go to work....

That's the problem I'm having now. I don't want to go into work anymore :(. I thought he was a good guy and he knows how to talk you up to make everything sound good but nothing comes of it.

He hired another guy to start a second crew, which we don't have the tools to do so. I'm constantly getting calls from the other guy asking for tools and all I can say is sorry but we only have one and I have it here.

Last week I needed a lot of tools to get the job I was on done but everything was at our other site. Took me twice as long to get things done and now I have to crawl back under everything to do a simple job that would have taken me 2 minutes to do when I was framing everything. Now it's going to be a pita to do

Lol they are good. The old guy is getting to be on borrowed time now. He had kidney and liver failure issues that my wife has helped reduce but because of that he can't take pain meds. He's having more issues now so we decided to start giving him some special pain meds and other meds to help offset the kidney and liver issues from the pain killer. He's doing a bit better but we are starting to set a time frame for when we need to put him to sleep :(

Damn little bugger has made it to 18 years

:( poor old guy. He's had a good life. Sucks having to do that. They all take a piece of our hearts with them, but I wouldn't trade the time with any of them.

Think when Annie goes, I'm going to foster the old babies that have been abandoned because they were too old or had a tough life. Give them a soft bed, plenty of food and warm place to sleep.

That's what we did with this guy. He was brought in to be put down but my wife asked if she could take him (owners legally surrendered him over). He's got a memory foam bed, lots of food and water, toys and his own room to be free in (he doesn't like other cats). I felt bad for him because he's in the room but my wife said that's better then a steel cage at a vet clinic

We let him out to roam when we lock the other cats up but all he does is sit on me and drool lol
