    i check that spot before every wheeling trip for cracks. found a hairline a few months ago and welded them up. got a spare set that will get the bushing sleeve wrapped with 1/8'' extra steel all of the way around and have new bushings pressed into to prevent that. glad you caught it before it tore itself off.

    yeah, I noticed a hairline crack on the other side, going to weld that up too. Next year I'm going to either swap out the front to TC +2 LT or the Stock Length TC LCA's.

    after a small spot weld over a cleaned/prepped hairline crack, there is no evidence of further cracking ater 2 more wheeling trips. just make sure to weld in 1-2 second bursts, so you don't burn out your bushing.

    i'm repairing/beefing up the stock arms for the same reason. no need to buy new ones with LT in the works.

    Exactly why I had my replacements wrapped & welded... Installing them tomorrow.:D

    anyone have any pics of their cab mount chop with a plate welded in? not sure how I wanna do it, I don't want to weld a piece in and then find that the tire hits it.

    I actually have a 3" lift now... :anonymous:

    Prior to today I was on 5100's w/ stock coils set at 2.25 and a wheelers 3leaf AAL in the rear.
    Today Jerry & I got the new lift on.
