    NOW 2WD isn't a problem...

Do you mean repairing all the dents? I would look into DIY repairs... I know a few people who tried to repair everything on their truck and have finally quit once they realized they've spent $6000 in repairs alone. I get it, trust me, but be careful because most likely they will come back.

    Smell?

Good point. Is there a consensus on the best mosquito repellent? Deep woods, cutter, etc?

Too poor to list anything interesting.
I really find you don't have much of an issue if you're not by the seaweed, or dunes. They tend to get really crazy around sunrise and sunset.

Don't stay after dark, those mosquitos love white meat. They will carry you away

Never had a problem with mosquitos on the beach. It's the damn flies that get bad.
