Nice catch can, and I think this is the first time I have seen thermal wrap on the intake tube. Interdasting. So simple...

    I'm guessign wrap is this:
    http://www.designengineering.com/ca...wrap-kits/titanium-exhaust-wrap-lr-technology

Link for catch can? Can't make out the brand. How much?

The catch can isn't needed on the 3.4L....on the 4.0L thats a different story.

That's the stuff I got (it was at the parts store and i thought why the heck not).

Here's where I got mine from. I went with the $58 version since it's the same as the other, only has a place for a top filter.
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...H&Description=add+w1+oil+tank&N=-1&isNodeId=1

Really? Could you elaborate as to why? Your statement is conflicting with what I've researched and found on here and other places. I'd like to understand more.

My experience so far has shown me that there is some flow of oil coming from my PCV. When I pulled the throttle body and the PCV valve I found a significant build up of old oil and gunk in the PCV valve (and was in the new one already as well when I put on the catch can the next day after changing it) and in the air intake plenum when I pulled the throttle body to clean it (along with the IAC).

Catch cans are helpful on all engines; not needed on any.

Ah, okay. I'm not trying to play semantics with the words (Just FYI). I hope I was not coming across as saying that it's needed. After reading up on what it did and what it prevented, it seemed like a beneficial upgrade. K

My goal in adding it was to (hopefully) elongate the life the engine and avoid costly repair/replace options down the road.

I def needed it on mine. I pulled my manifold and it was dripping oil. A bad PCV but still, the can would have been nice.

I went with a cheap ebay can and did some mods (added a rolled sheet of metal to elongate the intake and add sepperation from the second fitting then added stainless steal wool at the bottom... $20ish total ). As just did the breather on the can and capped the return line on the intake manifold

I had to pull this bulky beeotch out yesterday since it developed a leak that kept getting worse, and it would get very hot very fast when driving:
    IMG_20140809_202211_760_zps2b60a7ff_e97805dc8fa9c457003720d1d4d8e33378e60a25.jpg

The bolts holding the tranny to crawler adapter to the crawler were loose (don't know if that had anything to do with the leak) and i resealed the whole adapter plate where it meets the tranny.

    So far so good!
