    Can also put gun socks on them, protects them from each other, I have a select few of my guns that stay in gun socks (one of those being a 1914 winchester '94), there are gun socks designed for storage rather than transport that work very well

    Nice. Traded into one in 20" and always wanted the 18" like yours. Ended up selling it - thing was just too large! Wish they made a pistol grip stock or youth stock for it.

    Also got my front sight installed. Got my barrel fit in my frame as well, kart match barrel. Just started working on my beaver tail grip safety today, it will be done tomorrow. We will also be doing a bit of trigger work tomorrow as well. Goal is to shoot the guns by Thursday afternoon.

    Once the class is done in going to have Mr. Garthwaite checker the front and back strap, flat top the slide between the sights, and hopefully (I need to ask about this one), have him do "high power" cuts on the slide similar to the Wilson combat pinnacle. It will get a matte bluing.


    I also need to figure out what grips to get for the gun. Ivory or mammoth ivory is appealing to me as is white linen micarta. I don't really know what grips to get with a blued gun.

    Yeah the ammo just added to the picture to me.

    I check a gun every time I touch it even if I just checked it..

    But accidents do happen and mistakes are make, but like my dad says, "When it comes to a gun, there's no room for a mistake."

    The magazine that was inside the gun was also unloaded.

    But thanks for the concern. Never heard to remind people especially with a tool that can quickly become deadly.
