I recently added Icon uniball UCA's and extended travel coil overs. The steering now seems much tighter than normal (harder to turn) even after alignment. Is this normal? Will it loosen up with wear? I also added the sway bar relocate adapters.

Me and my brother had the exact same issue with our Icon systems. It feels normal now, so I can't even tell you if it feels the same as before the install, but the feeling definitely went away for both of us.

Just installed the same set up and had that issue. Went away after I aligned though.

I have Icon UCA's and my steering felt stiff after the install. I'd like to think that it loosened up some with time but it could be that i got used to it. Either way it feels great now and I appreciate the improved ride.

Well its a land Cruiser with a diesel so I've got that going for me.
It's the Uniball UCAS. They are tight when new and loosen up a bit. ICON's seem to be the tightest of all after installing a few different brands. I usually have to whack the UNI with a block of wood to get it aligned with the spindle. She will be nice and smooth soon enough. Grab some uniball lube to to help that out!

I forgot to locktite the top uniball bolt, just wondering if you can loosen that bolt or take it out and squirt some locktite on it or will it come apart? I've checked it a couple times and it doesn't seem like it would loosen up anyway.

I personally wouldnt loctite that bolt, itll become a pain to get off if you ever need to get your spindle off. If you do use blue loctite not red.

My steering eventually went back to normal after my lift broke in, probably took a month or so.

I just had that same setup installed 2 weeks ago and had that issue at first, but it now feels normal. I would say give it some time and it should loosen up.
