I figured that's what you meant. How long have you been a butcher?

Rewarding trade I'd think. Commercial grocer? Private? Local butcher shop?

Make a good plan, start out with easy stuff. Go shopping once a week that'll do when the plan (shopping list) is good. Make stuff that tastes good cold/reheated and only cook twice a week and than reheat in the micro wave. Saves a lot of time! Invest in some good "tupperwear" style containers

If you have access to a oven, shake and bake with boneless skinless chicken thighs is always a good option with a canned veggie and rice. Always have enough leftovers for a lunch or two.

Boneless skinless thighs pretty much cook themselves. Also buy yourself some Cajun fuckin' seasonin'

Lot of nights for a couple bucks I've had boneless/skinless thighs with cajun seasoning and an avocado. epic cheap meal

You'll pay double for de-boned and skin off chicken thighs as opposed to skin on, bone in thighs FYI. Buy a cheap knife and learn to remove the bone and save some $$$

I'll take a look at the other thighs, the boneless/skinless they have are antibiotic free, veg fed and free range, and they taste infinitely better than the bone in/skin on thighs I tried once from the same case.

Gotcha. Maybe that's it? I cooked them with bone/skin on the same way I cook the boneless/skinless and they didn't taste that good in, we thought maybe it was the added flavor of cooking bone in. Whatever it was wasn't good for $2.99/lb. Good stuff there is $4.99/lb and is your middle level, they don't sell organic in the meat case, maybe packaged tho

I do have a stove/oven, microwave, and a rice cooker so that's some more depth.

Keep it coming fellas, I'm fixing to head to the grocery story to make some pulled pork with the crock pot

also if you have a wholesale membership, you can buy your meats in bulk and freeze them.
Not to put Meatman out of business, but when on sale, I will grab an 8-10lb pork loin and section it up into 4-6 loins which I then freeze and have for future dinners. for the price and a little processing, it beats the stores charging $6-8 for a single 1lb loin vs the $15-20 for a bulk loin.
now I need to start cooking....
