Glad I'm not the only one who does this. I think meal preparation is what separates the winners from the losers. Meal prep is one of the keys to success for me.

Hahaha yes! There's one guy here that does it with music that I'm sure would scare Satan...drives me nuts

truffff to both...We've only got 1 or 2 bros here that I absolutely hate...it's almost scary how unaware of their douchiness they are

I swear man, the people who do that shit ONLY do it to dare someone to say something to them so they can start a fight.. and get an ego boner when polite and considerate people don't say anything. SMH life is too short to go through it trying to be a hard ass to everybody

haha yep. One of the above-mentioned bros came in last week and unplugged our XM radio and put his on because "he's sick of hearing the pop we play." I unplugged his phone and said that we've got a lost-and-found full of headphones if he'd like some. I mean, who the fuck does that!? I don't think 75 year old Betrice over there on the elliptical wants to hear Wiz Khalifa's new single...

All ur doing by going wider and flaring your feet is making you need to not move your body as far that the one plus to it if ur going for a max. Your by doing so putting exessive strain on areas not ment to take a load, with ur feet that angled and stance that far out ur knee is prone to injury because it now doesnt have the ability to track outward as much and your also creating far less torque that way and are actualy weaker. I dont care if shes a world reccord holder from a trainners perspective and someone whos gone to school to know how ur bodys supposed to move in my opinion that squat looks like shit and no way id let her squat heavy weight like that its an injury waiting to happen. Thats why i cant respect alot of powerlifters they hate on CF but there forms worse with 10x hevier weight?? Watch an olympian squat. Feet as narrow as possible and the least amount of flare possible. Its all a flexibility thing if u cant do it right stretch out and take your time till ur forms there. All the foot flare does in a sense is compensate to let your femor rotate into your hip socket so you dont get hung up on your pelvis so clearly she needs to work on some flexibility issues. Not to mention she would be a hell of a lot stronger...just my 2 cents i dont care how strong someone is if it looks like shit

    EDIT:
summed up. if you have to have your feet wide, keep your feet strait as possible, the closer your feet are together the more okay it is to have your feet flaring out, no one has the mobility of a gymnast, everyone just has to find there own happy medium...that girls stance was pretty wide and her feet were almost pointing sideways. I'm on my lunch break now so i was able to watch the whole thing her feet look closer together from the front angle that side angle looked like she was in a sumo dead lift stance practically.

Your not. As strait as possible is ideal. Straiter ur foot the more torque u can create.

I don't know if this was to me or not, but no. My scale says 9.6, but I know that's not right. I'm just using that number as a base line. I started at 11.1 when I started trying to cut.

I'm posting this here in hopes of better visibility.

    Background:
Problematic knee for 8+ months ...more than likely a result from training ..After months of being tossed around several doctors, and useless PT that increased the pain, I was finally able to obtain an MRI request for my right knee.

I met with an ortho surgeon 7 weeks post MRI for an office visit to discuss the results.
The results showed inflamed muscle tissue under the knee cap as a result of fluid getting into it somehow....I may have an issue with my meniscus too, but he was unable to tell from the MRI as it takes quarter sliced photos, so will probably check it while he's under it.

The surgeon wants to place two insertions below the knee cap, and one above. The procedure itself should take 45 mins or so, so it's nothing too intense.

He advised I will leave on crutches and can ditch them when necessary, but no real weight training that involves legs for 6-8 weeks.

My question is, is after the procedure should I start with low volume / intensity, or jump right into it? (Presuming I feel 100%) if I go slowly into it, when should intensity be ramped up?

I should know my scheduled surgery date in a week or so.
