9's.....The only downsides so far are,

It really eats gas now.

I have the slightest wobble at 45-50 then it goes away. Going for balance #3 as it gets better each time!!

The KM2's are pretty aggressive and you real "Feel" the road with em.

I'm pulling the badges and painting them black tomorrow. Yanking the white TRD sticker and using the last bodystyle one in black and red sans the OFF-Road portion so it will just say TRD.

Tossing it some wet okoles and more gas!!

The truck rides excellent. 5100's are the way to go here. Buddy has spacers his rides like chit.

Put it this way my 100# little 5-2" wife drives this truck to work as I prefer to ride my bike or drive my Dodge...

She loves the ride. Says it feels strong and confident.

I have a chipped up Diesel Ram on Lil' 265 BFG AT's that makes absolutely stoopid amounts of smoke bellowing power and gets 22-23 MPG on the hwy....750 Ft Lbs of Torque...Addictive.

 

More planted. Its like riding on the back of a Panther in heat...

It claws at the road. KM2's are badass. Not a hwy tire but for around town duty and maybe some weekend warrior shit?

Looks great. My setup is similar. The KM2's really do well in the heavy rain, I've been very impressed with them! You don't even feel the deep puddles at highway speeds.

How do you mean not a hwy tire? Is it because of gas/mileage or does it just not perform well at hwy speeds? These look awesome and are probably what I'm leaning toward in the future, but my commute is about 25 miles of hwy (though mostly a single lane each way so max speed limit is 55) and about 10 miles within city limits.

 

Nice KTM...is it a 300?

I have a 200 for the tight single-track trails of western PA. Coming off a crf250r, this thing is a rocket in the woods!

 

White one is a 300....Behind it...Is an old style chassis 06' 200 as well.

The 300 grunts from down low like a small 4 stroke and has the midrange punch of a fast 250 smoker.

The 200 is so peaky and hits so hard its almost harder to ride...I thought I would use the 200 for the really extreme nasty single track but the derned thing hits so hard it wears me out where as the 300 is uber smooth, no hit, no drama..

I do love me some 2 Hunnie tho...That lil' thing is bezerko fast!!


Sent this big heavy ass 07' 525 thumper down the road last year as i was tired of fighting the weight and heavy crank feel. Replaced that big heavy pig with 2 smokers and i'll never go back to valves!!
We have some pretty extreme trails here in Colorado...Its like Disneyland for off road riding.

 

They hum pretty good, they aint gonna roll as good as a mellower tire so they will eat gas and they will be bald at 25,000 miles if you Hwy drive it alla time.

Dont get me wrong as I could give a rats ass if I had to replace em all the time...I like the way they look, it snows here and we have lots of dedicated 4x4 trails.

But I would not suggest them as a good tire for a guy who lives in an Urban setting never off roads and commutes everyday. They just aint that kinda tire!!

Copy. Maybe I'll have to reconsider. Although the only reason I'm driving the truck so much right now is because my wife has dr appts that are much further than my commute for the pregnancy. About another month of that left then I can switch back to her corolla to commute in. They might work after all.

 

What about the mountain bike? If your other toys are just as nice, the give the mtn bike the credit it deserves!

By the way, kick ass looking Tacoma! I love it.
