i'll have to check the surf reports the day before i guess. the kayak will catch just about any size wave, but it's obviously more fun with larger waves and smaller currents.

I am planning to stay overnight and fish and do some Floundering. After the meet is over I will be moving over to the pass itself. Specificaly just north of the bridge about 125 yards. That area because the deep San Luis Pass channel itself runs closest to the beach right there. Also the Flounder gigging can be pretty good there as well.
    Fishing/camping company is most welcome.

Don't even pretend you are going. That would require you to drive through Houston and we know how you feel about that place.

I'm considering it, but given that mines a sit on top, it probably isn't great as a sea kayak.

Actually they aren't too bad. That is what I use when I paddle out to oil rigs to fish.

Road flares will melt a port-a-potty in about ten minutes. FYI.

Send me the details and how much you're wanting.

Now there's a good chance that I will be off of work on Saturday and can be out there all day.

Somebody is planning on it. I'd camp down at Galveston Island SP. You can at least get a shower.

Yes. You'll need it to jam out to Lonely Island - I'm on a boat
