:wave:Morning Rob, price of tires for the 6x are expensive:rolleyes:...did you try the old trick of breaking the bead on the problem tire cleaning all the surfaces then coat the bead seat on the wheel with permatex and re-inflating the tire...always worked when I worked in the garage:D...(unless the bead on the tire is damaged:confused:). Have a good day and hope Lisa keeps the noise down so you can get a nap:D

    Morning Ken.

Tire failed just inside the bead. If I had bought them first hand, I'd take it up with the manufacturer.

I didn't really like them when I bought the machine anyway. Think I may have found a decent deal on a nice set of the kind I want; take-offs from a Razor (the sporty off-road racer style machine). Randy and I picked up a set of four a couple months ago to use as spares. If I pick up this other set, I'll have the six I need, plus we'll still have two to carry as spares when we do the way back trips. All said, I think I can get what I like for about $600 vs the $1300 new price tag. Making the call in the morning; hope the guy still has them. The craigslist ad is 10 days old. :fingers crossed:

As an after thought, part of the problem is now that one has failed, I don't trust the other 5, so don't want to just buy one replacement. A lot of that is just my mind, but as I said, I didn't really like the tires when I bought the machine. Since I bought a used machine versus brand new, I still have about $8K worth of wiggle room to get it where I want it. ;)

Don't blame you on not trusting the other 5:eek:...I would hate like hell to be in a remote area and have a major tire failure...especially with a fresh Caribou on the back:eek:...Nap time yet:confused:

We're 4 hours behind east coast here. It's 3:34 AM; 3.5 hrs left in my shift. I work 10PM to 7AM. Coming up on weather check times to see if we need to adjust anything.

What are you up to today?

Lol. Turns out nobody is available to even help me put them in Labor day weekend. I might take a few days off and head to the hobby shop on base to do everything. I wish I had a second vehicle of my own so I could just park this beast and take my time...

No :(. Times 12pt. But, I can add images/illustrations if they help my argument. I have 2 so far that take up 3/4ths of a page. Need to type 3 1/2 more pages.

I'll just add more illustrations. It's a topic which is dual loaded for me. Concussions in athletes, and that the federal assholes need to keep their grubby hands out of the states policies on them :D

60 more credits... 60 more credits...
