    Great comedian, great actor, and by all accounts a great person. Very sad. I agree with everyone who said the world will be much less funny. RIP Robin, I hope you're in a better place and free of your troubles.:(

    He was one of the few who could truly do it all- sing, dance, comedy, drama. Compared to the one-dimensional guys like Will Farrell, Robin Williams is irreplaceable. I hope he is in a happier place now.

    You look back over his career and he was one of the most gifted people on the planet. As a actor / comedian... truly amazing.

    I still almost cried laughing at this. Came out and owned the crowd immediately.

    I caught this last night, the wife and I were taken back. So much memories we have watching his movies growing up. My kids just watched Patch Adams not too long ago and loved it, for the two of us we had not seen that movie since it was first out. It was like watching it for the first time, what a great movie and so many others he was in.

    Depression can and does take lives, I think we have all experienced depression to some degree at some point in our life, but for some it can really grab ahold of them to where the only way to stop the pain is to end it permanently. Calling this a selflish act is maybe not attempting to understand the depth of the issue. Then again the only way this can be done would be to become that person, which of course is impossible. Basically you can’t always put yourself in someone else’s shoes and assess the situation based on rational thinking, we are all very much different people with complex minds and life changing pasts.

    Yeah. Just looking for someone that is emotional so they can prey on that.

    I don't even want to know what the link leads too. It would just piss me off I'm sure.

    It's funny, the more I think about his life it was amazing all the things he did and all the smiles / tears he brought to all of us. I don't idolize anyone but some people stand taller than others. In death we should all show respect for the ones left behind.

    That is just low down and horrible. I've met some tools in my life but wow. This people deserve far worse than they will probably get. I mean this is the man's family they are attacking and so cowardly to one even do it. But two to do at their most vulnerable time.

    On a happier note if anyone was interested. I searched Robin Williams on uverse last night. And it appears Starz and HBO will be doing some sort of film montage to him. I noticed good will hunting, the bird cage, patch adams, one hour photo, hook, good morning vietnam, aladdin, and a few others playing in the next few days. I set them all that I don't own to dvr.

    The media is always over stepping its boundaries. Robin williams was an A+ actor who i will greatly miss. Its so sad that the only reason some people survive, is to hurt other people in their most emotional time. Hopefully robins family gets the time and chance to grieve and heal from their loss.     If you are watching I'd say the following;

    Dear Mr Williams, Or Robin if I may address you as my friend. I respect the decission that you made knowing that you have given it much thought and consideration to you and your family.

    You have acheived something I have only dreamed, that is to entertain, and make people smile and laugh all over the world.

    Its with much sadness that I and many others will no longer be able to benefit from your great talents, but you have so many contributions that will live long past your time here.

    May you find the same hapiness that you always brought to me through your work.

    What was the last Robin Williams movie you watched? I think the last one I remember watching with the family was "Jack"
