Oh damn it didn't. I tried to say ....... Is your solenoid box carbon fiber? And did those wire measurements work out?

Ha ha it is hydro dipped. The cool thing about the 10000s is it is sealed straight from them. Nice sized gasket in it. But i opted to add silicone to it for added.

And yes those measurements worked but I have about 3 ft too much because of how I ran it and what not. Have all the extra ran behind the headlight for right now until I can figure out where the hell to put it. Going to grainger today about some wire covering.

oh btw. I know winches pull a lot of amps but last night when we got everything done and up and running when I put the winch under load. (Staceys brothers f150) my lights flickered for about a second. Normal?

Haha yeah they aren't meant for a midsize truck. I still can't believe you ran them on your 4banger. Dude if I put those on my truck, it would go no where. Haha fuck that. I want to get some pure off-road wheels and tires just for the trips we take and I may keep the KM2s for life for street use just because of their street manner and weight. It's like the beadlock idea ...... Cool as shit to run beadlocks but on a DD it would be maddening because of the maintenance. Unless of coarse you get the Hutchisons which are rated for street use but I just don't like the look of them
Hahaha damn. Slapped in the face by a ginger hick. You like that shit Mike!!??

Yep. You need better/bigger grounds. Every been in a vehicle with a loud system and watched the lights dim with the bass? It's cause people run bigger power wires but never make their ground wires bigger

Well that's the thing. I replaced the ground with 2/0 like the rest. Could it be because I didn't ground at the battery but instead the body ground right beside the battery? I couldn't attach to the battery since the terminal is screwed up. I was going to go today and get better terminals for both positive and negative posts.

No that's not gonna be why. But ....... If you didn't make your main battery ground to chassis bigger then yes, that is the problem. Put the biggest wire on your battery ground you can. You also will want to upgrade your other grounds too. Alternator and starter grounds mean a lot. It's something that is looked over a lot but you have to start from the source of power. So here's a good way to think of it ....... If you had 2 extension cords, 1 was #10 wire and the other was #14 wire and you needed to plug them together to reach your grass blower, would you plug in the #10 first to have a bigger wire at the receptacle or plug in the #14 first to have a bigger wire at the blower? Which one makes sense? Same applies for your truck. Should you have a bigger wire from the battery or a bigger wire from the accessories you are running off the battery?

There is a thing called the big three. Power grounds and alt wires. Make sure you have bare metal for the ground also. When I use to compete I would run a couple extra batteries and a 200 amp alt with 0 gauge wire everywhere. The seat bolts are good too. But a 1/2 -1" hole to attach to the frame is best.
