The right answer is the #10 wire first. You always want the biggest wire at the source of the power. So think of it like say a #10 wire can hold 30amps and a #14 wire can hold 15 amps. By putting the #14 wire first, you are limiting the power to 15amps straight from the source. Although the #10 wire can carry more amps, the #14 wire is limiting that. So by putting the bigger wire first, any wire you add after that isn't limited by the source wire. Hence why you want your battery power and ground wire to be the biggest wire on your truck. Also power is lost over long distances. It's called voltage drop. 12v has a huge voltage drop over very short distances. Like per foot. Where as 120v, which is in your house, has voltage drop per hundreds of feet. So when wiring a car, if you used the same object, we'll say a light, and one was on the front bumper and one was on the back and you sized the wire to perfectly fit the amperage of the light then the light in the back would need a bigger wire because of the voltage drop.

Anyone else see the video Cody was in/filmed? He posted it to his facebook and got around 100k views in less than 24 hours. Then youtube accidentally flagged it for "copyright infringement." All they got was "oops, sorry" and had to re-upload it, losing 100k views on the video. I thought it was pretty cool to see someone I've met in a big video like that haha. The other video on that channel had 1.5 Million views.

I haven't seen it but they filmed it 3 weekends ago. It was supposed to be legit. I was in Nashville for the weekend and stayed at his house Sat night. Sunday they shot the video. I know he hasn't been on here lately or said anything about it but he moved to Vegas for a business venture with his boss's company 2 weeks ago and that video was supposed to be part of that

 

Just got off the phone with Eaton lockers and chase from East Coast gear supply. Chase told me to send him the diff and he would hook me up with ring & pinion and install kit for something like 325 and then he will send the locker off for warranty, in the mean time I'm gonna buy another Detroit locker from chase and he is gonna install everything free of charge and then when Eaton sends them the replacement he is going to refund me the cost of the locker

 

So how long is that gonna take? And did you get that in writing?

 

No clue on the warranty shouldn't be more than 2 weeks and I got it in email

 

So you're only out lunch money for 2 weeks instead of a month. Haha

 

So new gears for 325.00 plus shipping. How much is said locker.
