i'll let you know! I'm just trying to get above the treeline, and the snow shouldn't be a problem. My air locker is still in it's box at home though, not where it's supposed to be so I'm not going to try anything out of my league

Good deal, the last update from Bushducks was almost a month ago. I was really hoping to get over it this summer after getting shutdown by an early snow last year, and some made it sound like it might not melt out this summer at all. Best of luck!

I thought I would post this and see if anyone else may want to join us.

Myself, my wife, Terry (Brrap634), Terry's Girlfriend Melissa, and Terry's buddy Garrett (with a Heep, oops, I mean Jeep :D) are going to head down to Lake City Friday 8/29/14 (meeting at the Circle K Morrison exit of C-470 at 10:00 AM) to run The Alpine Loop plus Poughkeepsie, Black Bear and Imogene. Friday night camp below Cinnamon Pass on the Lake City side, run Cinammon Pass Saturday then come down Poughkeepsie Gultch, head into Ouray for some hot springs fun and dinner. Then head up 550 and set up camp most likely off Porphyry Gultch Road near the trailhead for Black Bear as there isn't much good camping at the Black Bear trailhead. Run Black Bear and Imogene on Sunday then head into Silverton for dinner then setup camp below the west side of Engineer's Pass. Run Engineer's Pass Monday and head back home. It's a lot of trail to cover in three days but I've done it before and it was awesome! If anyone else is interested in going let me know.

I think moose drool is breakfast beer.

Or is there a way to cool bacon in beer?

Going with the assumption that your L key is just way too close to the K....

I like to put flour on bacon before cooking it. Makes a yummy batter. I have absolutely no idea if combining this technique with beer would make something edible but I think it's worth a shot!
