What made you pick a Mac book?

 

I had a 13' with retina but I used up all the space in it, and now that I am editing a lot more pictures for work and stuff, I figured it was time for an upgrade, more space and bigger screen better for editing. And more fun

 

Glad you finally get it back

 

I wonder if you guys would know. I have a bad muddy spot on a access road to my hunting lease, could I laminate some 2x12's to lay over the mud and have them support my truck? If so how many would I need to laminate for each tread?

I drive a prerunner that damn near gets stuck every time, and then I have to drive home two hours covered in mud and wash the truck every time. I also know that I'm probably the only one who can make it through the mud

I like the wheels, it just doesn't look like muscle to me, if I was to pick a new body style it would be a 06 front end with maybe the same back as now

The auto's won't hold up to a SC'd 3.4 that's "enthusiastically" driven, 5spd could be the same way.

 

Anyone on here have the gopro chest mount? I'm doing a fun run/obstacle run next month and want to film it. It's the ROC race. It's based off the TV show MXC. I'm just wondering if the fast jogging/slow running will make the footage too choppy with the chest mount??

17-20 feet long. there isn't a good spot to go in, I typically get hung up on the edges because the mud is deep and I hit the ledge without enough traction to push me up. Even if I continue to make it through, no one else will make it. So I'm guessing the 2x12's won't work since everyone keeps offering other solutions. I could build a laminated oil field mat, was just hoping I wouldn't need as much wood (money)

 

chestys actually don't chop the footage as much as the head mount, since you're not bouncing your faces and whatnot

i just like the head mount for races because I can get footage without looking like a chick showing her boobs off


and for the obstacles, there's usually crawling or walls involved, which can catch on a chest mount

 

I'm not too worried about walls or crawling with this race. Google ROC race and you'll see why.
