It's a very terrible tragedy, that we can all agree on. How and why it happened is pretty simple if you don't look into it too far. A kid got out of his car on a race track and was hit. No doubt the worst decision made In this incident. The question that remains is whether or not Tony did anything intentional. Not by intentionally hitting him, because I also believe we would all agree that's not what happened either but was there an action he made out of anger, arrogance or competitiveness that caused and accidental collision?

It's going to cloud Tony's career for quite some time regardless, but hopefully it doesn't hurt the teams and it's employees that Tony owns and helps.

You're really stuck on that he revved his engine to scare him thing, curious as to why you are so sure? There are other possibilities as to why the engine revved and if it was even his car in the video, you don't seem to take those into consideration.

The reason people like him are so successful is because they are so fiercely competitive. You don't find people at the highest level of any sport who are not like this.

The kid fucked up and he paid with his life. It's just a sad accident and hopefully will serve as a lesson for anyone else in motor sports.

Does anyone know what actually killed him? Just the blunt force trauma to the body or did his head take the hit?

He reved his engine, he must be guilty as charged. Seriously dude. Who gives a fuck if he reved his engine or not. You have some pretty fucked up logic. We will all see Tony cleared of all charges in the next few weeks. I could really give a crap about Tony Stewart, but it bothers me to see stupid ass people like you that keep making dumb ass comments.

I think this is the best evidence on what really happened and the reason for the revving of the engine.

What do you think will happen?

I'm not saying you're wrong, just that you're logic based on 1 video that's not very "clear" and what a friend says shouldn't lead you to a definitive conclusion.

Brothers Busch? Kurt can't keep a ride because of his attitude. Plenty of the younger drivers are all about temper.

Tragic incident for sure. Really can't draw conclusions from the one video though. Convicting him in the court of public opinion doesn't mean he is guilty or did it with malicious intent.

I think it is you that is being naive. Again and again it has been said that the camera shooting the video was ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE TRACK from the incident. The engine noise heard is coming from a vehicle that is near the camera, not Tony's across an entire TRACK.

Um, logic alone dictates that a noise THAT loud would be coming from near the camera, not from some 200 feet away or more, but that is fine. You have a right to your opinion. Obviously nobody is going to know anything real detailed until after the investigation.
