So I picked up part of a used water meth system for dirt cheap. Decided to give it a go. I used water meth in my big turbo with great results. total cost for me was 240 cdn that's including buying a new controller.

    First thoughts on the drive.
I get at 1 -2 psi more boost from the sealing effect the Injection has on the twin screw blower.
My intake manifold and blower are Luke warm to the touch.
    so far so good!

It's a little to early to tell but I was getting between 8.50 (27.6 mpg)and 10.1 (23.2mpg)L/100km according to the ultra gauge cruising at 110km/HR(68mph) I NEVER have got that low before. I was doing a bunch of WOT to see how it reacted, but on the way back I took her easy. I just did a trip to winnipeg and averaged 13.2(17.8mpg)!
That's with 265/75/16 duratrac @ 38psi. Hope the good milage continues would be a great by- product lol.

Nice setup man. I'm also exploring the meth option for future use on my trd blower.

I figured they were just giving me a hard time!
All I really want to achieve with the set up is lower intake temps. Man on hot days the blower gets heat soaked easily. Nothing like driving on cool mornings the truck feels like a whole new animal

I will need more time to see how it pans out with out a specific tune for it. The truck does "feel" stronger. I would not have paid 500+ shipping though

Can someone explain why this would help anything? And what applications it would be used in?

its used for cooling the air in F/I applications for the most part, i also think u can add some timing because of this and crank out a few more ponies. and additional benifit is a steam cleaned cylinder ones it starts spraying. if ur gonna shell out the cash for a turbo or SC, it seems like a pretty inexpensive investment to get the most out of ur compressors.

My problem is I don't really want to mess with tuning. The urd maf calibrator will work but I have to do thr tune my self since I have the trd re flash.
From the readings I have done our ecu does not read the knock sensor below 3000rpm. What it does is take the knock information from above 3 rpm and apply it to below 3krpm.
So if I understand what I read I have to drive above 3krpm with the Injection on to get the better knock threshold in the lower rpm.
    I got this information from.

I'm surprised more people don't use methanol instead of the 7th injector. It's not that hard to install. You just need to know the ratio for the nozzle setup you want to use.

    Nice work!

Another nice benefit is that it doesn't kill your mpg like having a 7th injector spray more fuel.
