I personally did not. I wore their coatings off as fast as i could then drove around for about 600miles using them normally then did their 10 stops in a row from 60-10mph in order to heat bake them.

i went the 500 mile route...first 100 or so very light, then normal driving through 500. then the 10 60-0mph stops.

basically just took it easy for the first 500 then said, enough is enough

You don't just watermark with LR? You can. Very easy to do including custom ones. Plus export directly to Flickr. No extra copies.

i finish with LR at 100%, then reprocess those at 50-70% with watermark within LR

Oh. I just export directly to Flickr with water marks and it does resizing automatically.

small update....swapped out my Camburg uniballs on the UCAs over the weekend..

    old
    [IMG]

they had quite a bit of play in them..they were loud as FUCK too

turned out to be beneficial to remove the UCAs for the swap...too much of a pain to try and swap out while still on the truck..

    find some strong c-clip pliers..remove the c-clip...

put the UCA on a 4x4, find a sock that'll fit inside the UCA hole to press out the old uniball..then give her hell til she pops out

we used some brake clean and a rag to clean the inside of the hole along with a pick to clean out the grove the clip sets in...

throw some bearing grease on the outside of the new uniball...set the new uniball in place..make sure it's set to go in straight before you start to press it in...

eric had an old pipe laying around which lined up great around the outside of the uniball...set that on the uniball and hammered away...press the new one in until you get clear access to the c-clip groove..

get those strong pliers again and set the new clip in...take a flat head screwdriver and hammer to tap the new clip in to make sure it's set

then reinstall the UCA and torque

Details on the Airflow install, Donaldson, etc? I was talking to a local overlander and he told me NOT to get a prefilter due to improper air flow vs the forced air flow. Noticed any issues?

prefilter vs open hat....definitely better airflow with open hat

does it make a difference? slightly yes

does the prefilter help eliminate 99% of dirt, dust and other debris before hitting the air filter? most definitely

do i have to worry about heavy rain and/or snow getting down the tube and soaking through my filter and fucking with my MAF sensor with the prefilter? definitely not...with the open hat? yes

does the prefilter still perform better than factory setup? yes

i actually have my open hat behind my seat so i can swap them back and forth easily...unscrew the clamp, take out set screw and swap.. pretty easy to go between the two...

airflow or safari, i would go with the 10" safari for airflow purposes...they offer two inlet diameter options that would work "good" with each one
