That is the exception, not the rule. My wife and others that I fly with, have AT&T and they constantly have signal issues while I have a max signal. This is not occasionally, but 99.9% of the time, especially when away from a major metropolitan area.

I would rather pay twice the fee and have a phone that works, than save $20 and have a phone that sometimes works.

What do you mean? I like Christy Mack but who the hell is Tony?

Unless you're in West Texas where Verizon gets zero signal. AT&T does however.

    x2!

and just in general, regardless of carrier, I-phones tend to get lesser service than the alternatives.

i've found that on the same carrier, the i-phones will pick up 3/4G better, but androids will get standard cell service better for texting/calling. so you'll just have to pick your priority. there.

I can go to my dad's ranch in BFE and have perfect signal with AT&T, tried with verizon and it was spotty. Also drove to North Carolina with verizon with my ex (she had at&t) and it was spotty, she had pefect signal the whole time. I had verizon for 1 month and switched to at&t, will never go back

Overall, I think it depends on what kind of service you are looking for or need. Verizon used to be the winner for call/txt coverage for quite some time, but they had less then adequate 4G/LTE coverage. ATT and TMobile pushed their 4G/LTE coverage and I think have better coverage for that overall and Verizon is catching up there.

Careful with this one, while some say they offer unlimited, the reality is that they offer x GBs at 4G/LTE, then after that degrade your service to 3G. Check the fine print.

Psh. I had 'unlimited' with vzw, capped at 2 gigs. Swapped to AT&T and have 'unlimited' with them and caps at 2.5 gigs. When ever I go there I get the pressure from them to downgrade to 2 gigs for $5 less, and I give them the same response every time, 'I love paying $5 a month extra to dangle my unlimited plan over your head.'

Thats what tmobile does unless you pay $80 which is $20-25 more than I pay now..

Sprint or virgin mobile had the best to offer but if service isnt good down there (coverage map says service is almost perfect) then I dont wanna switch to that

Don't disagree with you a bit. If I had an unlimited plan, I would keep that bitch forever too. But many don't understand that it's not unlimited 4G, whether that actually matters to someone, depends on their needs, just don't expect unlimited 4G.

I don't expect unlimited lol, I wouldn't try to use any form of data when they cap my LTE with it being slow as molasses. Every phone upgrade they give me 'please downgrade' and I politely tell them to fuck theirselves.
