do light banded shoulder dislocation, and use a end of a sharpie or something and get in there to do some deep tissue trigger point massage. its gonna hurt but it will help a lot.

Go to a local sporting goods store and pick up a lacross ball and do so trigger point MFR in there? Wheres it hurt i know you said tendonitis but it could just be a pissed of contracted rotator cuff muscle? i thought i had the something as you cuz i could press without crying and turned out my subscapularis was supper contracted, downside was my chiro who does super deep tissue work told me the only way to get to that muscle since its behind your scapula was thru my armpit, most painful thing ever. picture someone wrenching there thumb as hard as they can into your armpit on a super tender muscle...anyways If you take ur arm keep it down by ur side, internaly rotate it and then reach it back. Next take ur opposite hand and press on your front anterior part of your delt (or where it would be) because when u press there the end of your humorus is exposed and thats where ur rotator cuff muscles insert so if it hurts like a bitch to touch right there ur gona wana do some deep tissue work on ur subscap, supraspinatus and infraspinatus cuz they all attatch there and alot of people get referred pain to that spot even if its somehwere else. Or u can take ur hand and hold in infront of you and internaly rotate it then act like ur shacking someones hand (do what ud do if you were holding a can upside down trying to shake everything out of it) if that hurts really bad then u might actualy have a rotator cuff tear somewhere not just pissed of rotator cuff muscles.

Like t4r said its gona hurt line a bitch so be prepared if you havnt done deep MFR before haha

Lacrosse balls hurt like hell. I've been hit in the bicep, the knee and my left kidney by 75 mph shots.

Martial arts sounds like fun. I've wanted to do Muay Thai or Brazilian jujitsu.

if you're a masochist and love pain, muay thai
if you have good joints, bjj

    haha

we did a little of both

muay thai conditioning is not fun

What exactly do you mean by, good joints? I may look into Muay Thai. Which one is more fun?

my school gym routine has me running around 30 miles a week

didnt have a problem keeping weight....

    BJJ requires loads of flexibility
joint locks and manipulation will hurt if you're not

i dislocated my shoulder a few times rolling with guys better than me lol

they're apples and oranges though. BJJ is a manipulation art based heavily in ground work. MT is a strikers art

"real" MT will hurt you. a lot. but it builds you up
take a stick. smash it into your shin. that's MT. haha

    there's a reason it's a national sport

but every art has its pros and cons
every art will make you a badass. I wouldn't wanna fight a good MT or BJJ guy. lol

there's a reason everyone started learning BJJ in the MMA circles- especially after Royce Gracie beat Ken Shamrock in the ring

every good school should have a few chairs or whatnot to let people come in and watch. go watch a few classes at places around you and see what you wanna do

It's like going to the gym.
it can just be a thing you do, or a lifestyle.

It's the best thing I think I did/do as far as personal growth. fun as shit too
