    My aunt owns the Westgate Cafe in west salem. If you have a few extra minutes. I think it'll come up as Annettes Westgate. Best breakfast ever

    And what's better, my dad owned it before her. Most of the dishes on the menu were his... so enjoy it!

    And going there is the perfect cut off to the coast. Its on the way out to Newport.

    Also, you can drive up through Dayton to get to Portland. Don't let your GPS take you back to I-5. Take the scenic route through the vineyards. I could give my cousins a call to open up for some tasting if you want ;)
