Today I was in a head on collision. I was traveling at least 35mph when a vehicle turned in front me. Based on the damage to other vehicle and the minimal damage to my truck I feel confident in saying that the All Pro bumper is an outstanding product and that they should feel very proud. The police at the scene were amazed at how little damage my truck endured and more importantly that I was completely unhurt. I will be ordering a new bumper when the insurance payment arrives.

Any close up pics of the bumper? Glad you're alright!

A lot of crap and too much money spent
Dang that car is messed up. I was thinking of getting a hybrid bumper but after seeing this I might reconsider.

How's your frame is the question. Seems like a collision with one of these bumpers would result in less body damage but transfer that energy to the frame. Curious about that.

Great question. It's going to the shop and will get put on the frame machine. I'll post a follow up.

Did your front airbag go off? Sorry for a noob question, but do you lose front airbags with aftermarket bumper?

Nice to see that bumper hold up. Exactly why I want one so bad... and nice to see a beautiful Whataburger in the background!!

For 05 and up, the airbags are not triggered from the bumper. There are sensors on the frame that senses inertia or sudden deceleration.

    No airbags.
Minor damage. I drove it home and then to the shop.
I ended up going with new wheel hubs since it was in the shop.
The frame was tweaked a bit but it drives straighter now than before the accident.

Came out of the shop last week looking better than when it went in.

    I am lucky.
