If you didn't jb weld the lock nut, you can probably loosin the lock nut and turn the projectors from the back. If you did glue it, you're gonna have to take it apart, dremel the glue, then fix it. You should've checked the rotation before sealing them up.

So I didn't JB weld the lock nut. My problem is that the projector has a groove that runs down the threads on one side. There is a washer that has three tabs on the outside and a notch that is on the inside. The notch fits down the groove on the projector and the three tabs sit very tightly into the existing plastic of my stock headlight housing preventing any rotation.

With our tacomas, you don't need use that h4 adapter plate. It doesn't help with our horizontal alignment at all. You can either ditch it or grind down the tab and aligning it yourself.

    Edit: Here's why

I see. So I'll have to take my headlights all the way apart again cause there is no way I can drop that washer out and re-tighten the projector back in from the back.

I don't remember if you can just stick your hand back there and get it out or not, but if so, then great! Easy fix. If not, then you have to take it all apart again and fix it.

Its the first thing to go on the back of the projector. And Ill need to be able to twist the projector, and see where it aims, requiring power to the projector. I gotta pull them apart and jimmy them into position before everything goes back together. Next question, after modding this nut, remounting the projector, do I then mount the back half of my headlight on my truck plug it in and see where it aims before taking it back off and sealing it?

Yeap! After it's all and done, you can put a little bit of glue to secure it in place. Sometimes vibration can loosen the nut a little and you don't want to go through the hassle again

I painted everything I could touch with a qtip haha I went to walmart and got a little red pen thing around the craft section looked like a marker but was filled with paint. Honestly I wouldn't waste my time on the 3.0s and just do an LED because I did the LED mod as well and it looks way better. Now on th elder projects yes paint the shields.

So did the right headlight after work today. Took everything apart and trimmed that lock washer as noted above. Also had to seriously trim down the first lock nut to make that fit all the way against the washer as there was plastic from the headlight in the way as well. Put it all together and tried it. Took it back out and double bubbled the lock nut and lock washer down. Its level now. Tomorrow I shall tackle the left one…

What temp are the bulbs? They do not look like 4300K. I haven't decided which bulbs I would want to go with... and I'm between 4300K and 5000K.

Do you happen to know which color wires I can wire my LED angel eyes into on my DRL's? My options are Green, White with a black stripe, and Blue.
