Whatever they are calling their 15mbps service. We tried to upgrade on their website but they just wanted to screw us around when it was time to deliver. The product is good but their customer service is atrocious! They just don't care because no one else has a product to match.. Without paying out the ass. I cannot wait for Google Fiber..

If you want something from twc just call them and say you want to cancel. We did this last year and since then we've been paying 50 bucks less a mo and they upgraded us to 20mbps. They're not doing so well they can't afford to lose customers.

Yea, we might just cancel anyways. We tried to upgrade online and the "total monthly costs" was like $60. The store wouldn't give me the boxes without charging me $105 a month.

We're currently paying $51 for just 15mbps Internet.. No TV or phone.

Dude if you call and say you're canceling they'll ask why. Just say what you just said just then and they'll give you what you want. They'll probably throw more deals at your face just begging you to stay lol. Just don't pay more than you do now. Say "such and such has a deal where you pay this much and they offer the same service"

I pay TWC 61.89 per month for their fastest service, which includes Modem/Router Combo.
I have nothing else with them, I stream my TV and my son is a NERD (shh don't tell him) and a bandwidth hog with the games he plays online..

I'm satisfied, plus no one else services my area at the moment...

This is my first post on TW. Finally got a Tacoma, '03 4dr 4x4 TRD off-road.

Was planning on getting out on some simple trails today or tomorrow to test out the new )to me) truck. Did the grey wire mod last night in about 20 minutes and am pumped to test out the rear locker. Tested in my neighborhood to make sure it locked and unlocked fine, and it did. Ready to see what a difference it makes. I have never had a vehicle with a locker, so I am really excited to see the difference.

Thinking about either a few trails on the land I hunt, but those arn't really gonna offer much considering I could do most of those in 2wd in my old stock nissan pathfinder. Was also thinking about the trails on the right of 540 if you are heading west right as you would take the exit to get on 40 west. I know 2 years or so ago you could drive right back there. Not sure if they have blocked it off since, but it did offer some decent incline that could be fun in 2wd with the rear locked.

Anyone have any suggestions that are not much of a haul from Raleigh? I live off Leesville Rd. near 540.

Lastly, I am really glad there is so much info here on Tacoma World as well as a large number of us from Raleigh. My truck is currently stock, but I plan on doing some modifications. I am gonna start on the less expensive side of things, with the only big purchase being some all terrians. Had considered a lift, but it seems like a lot of work and cash by the time you get tires, possibly wheels, lift kit, and regear. So I am thinking I may just stick to the stock tire size. If I do raise it up, I am gonna go the cheap route with maybe a small lift using spacers so that I can go up from stock size (31.5" ?) to maybe 33"s at the most. I want to avoid having to re-gear, and don't want to cut down my MPGs with the lift. Maybe some of y'all have some suggestions to gain a little more clearance without sacrificing MPGs.

Look forward to the adventure of modifying my truck and speaking with ya'll for help, which I will most likely need, in the future.

I had the same thoughts and worries. The lift I have now only cost me $300 as it is one of the most basic you can get, yet still ride and look good. Bilstein 5100s and an add a leaf. (This is just for now, in a little bit I'll get kings or icons and leaf packs and all that fancy stuff.) so just know it can be done for cheap. With 33s.
Also, I'm thinking about heading to uwharrie tomorrow to ride through some trails if you're close to there, I hear good things about that place.)

Well my cheap ass is about to pull the trigger on a set of black FJ trail rims for 580.
But what about tires you ask? I have no freaking clue.
    I would like a GOOD ride. I don't go Offroad. Michelins ??
I also would like the tallest and widest tires possible with absolutely no rub.

    Suggestions?
    thank you.

16" or 17"? Stock height 265/75r16 were a good fit.
Cooper discoverer ATP are great Street tires and will get you by offroad if you get the urge.
