From my research it seems they aren't very reliable, at jest not up to Toyota reliability. I would love to swap a manual in just don't have another dd.

Well gents, it is done. My Taco has been traded for this 2010 FJ Cruiser. And while I'll miss my Taco, this FJ is sweet ace!

Have my rear bumper mount brackets cut out. still have to drill hole for recovery shackle. They will go through the bumper and tie into the frame.

I finally replaced my door handle. Almost a month and a half with a hole in my door. Good thing no one knew the schematics of the door lock and jacked my truck. I waited on a part from a friend of a friend and got let down. Went to a local shop, bought the handle, and in the same hour installed the handle and the panel back on. A month for less than an hour of work.

Once I saw it and drove it, I just had to. I've already got a lift and tires picked out for it, but that'll have to wait til after the wedding.

Raised my kings a couple more inches. What a bitch and a half. I had to use a spring compressor and pound the piss out of a harbor freight punch to get any movement out of the collar. No way could you do it easily on the truck.

I am sure you know it is a 2 piece collar. I was looking at adding a few to my Kings but have not done 8th yet. King is only 3 to 4 miles away from me so I may just have them do it.

    ...too much shit to list.
Sounds like the collar is crossthreaded. It happens with Kings if you loosen the allen lock key too much. My 10 year old son can adjust mine as long as the collar is on the threads correctly.
