How many 12 volt power outlets have you had to add to satisfy your needs. Two outlets these days of GPS, dash cams, phones, kids electronics, etc. just isn't enough.
I have added 3 12v outlets and two usb outlets up front and 1 12v in the rear. Wish there was at least one on the overhead console.
Also we have 110v A/C in the bed of our trucks but no 12v?

That looks like a pretty good start to a power grid!

I am actually in the process of adding some lighted toggle switches to the center console for some of these.

Also - anyone got a good spot to tap for a non-switched 12v circuit. I hate the factory setups that don't allow charging when the keys are off. I can easily tie it to my radio's constant wire, but I was wondering if there's a dedicated plug/harness somewhere that already exists.

Easiest would be radio power, however, you will get dirty power and cause static on some stations. Pull a dedicated power and ground from battery and fuse it 20 amps within 6-10 inches of battery. Or you can do something like this

You know, I may be the only person on earth that doesn't always have something plugged into an outlet. In fact, I hardly ever use my outlets. I am the only person that uses my truck, though; my wife and stepkids are banned from it (because they are slovenly mother fuckers) :D. In her car, there are routinely like 3 things plugged in at any given time, most of which have the cords plugged in but the actual accessory not attached to the cord.

I don't really use my phone much, and typically get 2 days and 2 nights of use on a charge; I recharge it overnight on night 2 from AC power. I have a GPS but I haven't actually had it up on the windshield or plugged in for a year, I prefer to navigate by common sense, road signs, and maps. I don't own any other electronic gizmos that would require recharging in the truck.

Having said that, I did add a 12VDC outlet in my console so I can tuck my phone away on those rare instances when it is charging in the truck (like on a multi day trip); otherwise, I have literally used the OEM 12VDC outlets one time, to see if they were working when I bought the truck. I have never used the USB outlet. I also have an invertor installed under the passenger seat, but the last time I used that was a couple years ago (in a prior vehicle); but it's there if I need it.

13 cup holders and only two outlets. Ill be adding double usb outlet and one 12v to the inside of the center console. The bed will get a 2 12v outlets and a double usb outlet. We spend 8 or 9 nights at a time out in the deserts of utah and it seems everyone wants to charge or plug something in. I have done dual battery set ups in all of my previous rigs and the tacoma is getting the royal treatment.
