Yep, thats also Probable Cause for them to do other things. Like Run your plate, or an excuse to pull you over, and other things. (Obstruction of view), Technically, Having the Inspection sticker or parking pass is the same thing. I keep mine on a piece of plexy glass sitting gone the dash.

The same shit everyone else has.
    Turned this stuff -

    B8AAF005-476D-4497-A406-D2167A911EC6_zps_feebcf65ba85c7d410ef12ffcfe9dc8a26ce021f.jpg

    into this -

At first, I was going to use OEM Toyota stuff for this but decided against it. The VW parts I used are way cleaner and sturdier and look better.

I still need to decide on how I want to wire it. I hate that the front ones are switch. Im 99% sure I want to rewire those to constant to 12v+ constant and do the same to this one.

On another note, I think Im going to change the front 12v sockets as well to these -

Lighted sockets with a spring loaded lid, also from a VW. I snagged 1 from the junkyard the other day, I just need to get another one.

Do you have a way to lock those cans or are you not worried about people getting into them?

    2 wires.

    Positive and negative.

I would venture it is as easy as finding an unused hot spot in the fuse box and tap into it or wire it directly to the battery with an inline fuse

    A) I don't leave my junk unattended in janky areas.

    B) Even if I stop for lunch, I have eyes on and a clear line of sight to my truck within the effective range of whatever weapon I have on my person.

    C) I don't leave anything in there of great value. You want to steal my worn out snatch strap? Ok, I guess you need it worse than me.

It is possible to lock them with some mods- http://www.ar15.com/archive/topic.html?b=10&f=17&t=641850

Huh. Wonder how they feel about Skewps.

And really? Va? WV? C'mon. Half the vehicles don't look road worthy "yes, your rusted bedsides flapping in the wind isn't a problem, but the GPS has got ta go.

Yup just swap them out. Two screws and one plug for the each light housing.

Good call. I would have been the envy of every walmart skank within 150 miles if I could have just figured out the bag hooks.

I should have asked where did you wire it. I know how to. I just don't want to run a wire to the battery
