Hey everybody. I am back. Didn't have much time for internet over the past several days.

The step rails I think are OEM, and as Kolt said, black. For the purposes of wheeling, they have gotten in my way. They were made for DCSB, and fit 2/3 of support brackets on ACLB. On both sides, the 2 brackets have been bent from lack of clearance and the third bracket was never installed. The bent brackets should be able to be straightened out with a bench vice and a hammer or just pulling on it. Kolt gave me what appears to be grade 8 hardware for mounting the step rails, and on installing stuff, I lost 1 of the bolts, but they are easy enough to get more at any Ace hardware.

I would be interested in a TW wheeling/hunting trip, however I don't think I am prepared for it since I don't have a hunting license, and my only "rifle" is a lever action .22, and no shot gun yet. Maybe in a year or 2.

Gallagher Lake head is one I would love to do, but at a point of lack of money, I am staying home for awhile. :(

To the new person near Olympia, go to Tahuya. Just don't go wheeling alone. Always have a second truck, and recovery gear you know how to use. If you get stuck alone, you can be really stuck, but if you have a second truck, that one can help pull you out. Don't ever get the recovery straps that have the metal hooks on the ends. When they break or pull off, they will shatter an entire window/windshield or put gnarly dents into the body.

Hold the phone I never said that. Just found out also with my drive line angles its going to cost me close to $1400 for the front one ton drive shaft. I will probably have to run a 2 ton cv joint at the transfer case and a one ton joint at the diff. though im going to wait till I get my atlas befor I spend that kind of money on drive shafts.

Izzy - do you have a copy of your suspension alignment numbers?

haven't gotten it done yet. Dropping the truck for body work today and then alignment. Do you think alignment could be causing it?

If you are rubbing on your front, then yes. Most of us after an alignment rub on the flaps and flare. Not saying you'll get rid of rubbing, but it may shift to a different location. No sense trimming a bunch of stuff that wouldn't have to be trimmed after alignment.

After 8 months of looking at new tires in my garage, I finally took an angle grinder to mine and went for it. I wasn't really worried since I plan to replace the fenders with fiberglass. It really sealed the deal on Friday when my wheel fell off and hit my driver side fender. Absolutely no rubbing issues all weekend :D

You will have to put some pics up to show how it looks after the wheel left without the rest of the truck

You mean the cutting wheel flew off? I would love to see more pictures of trimming to help me plan my trimming.

Here is right after it happened:

    Here's the fender damage:

AAA said they would be 30 minutes. One hour later they called and said they would be another hour. At that point, I put reason aside and started walking the street to see if I could find any of the lugs. I managed to find three of them, pulled out the hi-lift and got it very temporarily mounted. Then managed to throw on the hazards and creep back home.

Oh yeah, I also had to slightly bend back part of that thin metal shield behind the rotor since it contacted the ground first.

It took the correct type of lug nut and a new rotor from the dealership to get back on the road.
