Yeah lots of bumpers are built off the simple square tube design. Easy strong simple.

All you have to do is get a winch with a remote solenoid and relocate it somewhere under the hood

I've been eyeballing the Warn M8000, but I don't know if you can get it with a remote solenoid

I thought that any warn winch without an "i" at the end of it meant it had a remote solenoid...? The "i" being for "integrated". Here is a line in the description from Warn's website "Low-profile design and separate control box allows for a wide range of mounting options"

Happy to help. I've got a Warn XD9000i and it has an integrated solenoid. I love it and it hasn't ever let me down!

So I hear that swings outs tend to rattle? True? if so, that kind of turns me off on a swingout

Finally blew the motor at 230,000, sprung for a Jasper with 100,000/3 year warranty. The birdpig has a new set of wings! OME heavy load lift kit, Dakar leafs w/AAL, frame mounted energy suspension 4.5" bumpstops, 882 coils, nitrocharger sport shocks, trail gear sliders, addicted offroad front bumper, KC 130w daylighters, Warn M8000, 31" BFG KM2's, custom dents and Nevada pinstripes.
The m8000 does have a remote solenoid but mine fit on the bumper without touching the grill. Those satoshi grills definitely look awesome, but looking awesome doesn't help when you're truck is stuck in the middle of nowhere and you have to leave it there and hike out for a day or two at best. Winch up.

I like my swingouts like I like my women, tight :D

Your swingout looks great man! I think I may just get a roof rack and throw my spare up there
