Just got back myself. Glad to hear you got back OK, CostcoPizza. Sucks you couldn't make it out today but good times, bro.

I'll post more tomorrow since I just got done washing half the mountain off the truck and unpacking. In a nutshell, THIS WAS THE MOST KICK ASS TRIP EVER. Simply, 'wow'.

no - they were the incorrect type of lug nut. I had a spline drive acorn-type lug nut on my SCS wheels and 'thought' it seemed fine for the Pro-Comp wheels. Not the case. Due to the gap between the threads on the hub and the wheel, I needed something with a spline drive acorn-type AND a shank. We got a set from Discount Tire and a new rotor from the dealership. Installed and bled brakes and we were back on the road.

We drove down to the area around Whistlin' Jacks and did some light wheeling until the group showed up later in the afternoon.

OK have to run to a meeting, will post more later.

Thanks everyone for a pretty awesome intro to some west coast trails. Gotta get to work on my truck so I can hang longer next time for some of the harder trails.

The easy answer is more alcohol in your body and speed in your truck.

Looks like somebody got shat on.

Yeah, next time I'll park over the mud puddle instead of next to it when there's no good punk kids buzzing around on their 3 wheelers.

It is easier to run their 3 wheelers over with your truck

So Sunday started at 11 am. We didn't return to pavement until 5am. Somewhere around 3am this happened. Every other corner I was using my sliders.

    That sucks David. :(

I got this little beauty after I left you guys. I passed that one tight area between two trees before Lily Pond and was essentially home free until a log jumped out from the trail and hit my driver side:
