This, except you can stay on the coast pretty much al the way into SF. I love that drive. Not sure if I mentioned it before but if you have a chance stop at gold bluffs beach and visit fern canyon, very cool.

Just north of that is McKerricher State Park. The is a cool short walk out to a point and observation deck where tons of seals hang out in a protected rock ring pool, safe from great whites...
