looking into moving to ID

Might want to trade that pre runner in for a 4x before you come up here so you can enjoy the state for other part of the year

 

Yea get rid of the PEee Runner.

 

i know i know...its a perfect excuse to upgrade to a 4x4...haha i got the pre runner with the thoughts I'd be living in cali forever...

 

it'll be funny cause they know im from cali just by the way my truck looks. mall rated haha

 

meridian not to far north once i get settled in im wanting to venture out more..hopefully my peerunner as some call it will be ok haha

 

out here in big bear but nothing to crazy and never in my tacoma...

 

it's funny where i live now,, most trucks are just for looks and in ID its all about fuction vs looks...from what ive seen

what day are you moving up there?

 

I will be driving by boise saturday / sunday of aug 30/31.

 

I took my prerunner to bogus basin a few times and I made it jsut fine. However I would get a 4x4 if I moved back.

 

Ryan I leave the 30th super early should get there by the evening. I'm staying in Nampa though

 

I'm not from Idaho but have lived here for about 7 years. Terrific scenery once you're outside the valley and there is always something to do. Summers are a but hot and dry but guess being from socal you are used to that. Cost if living is dirt cheap imho. Plenty of decent jobs and the people are as friendly as I've seen anywhere. We live out in Nampa. I'm down to hit some trails if you get the chance. It's nice being able to go shoot ten minutes from home and be able to water your lawn whenever you want.

 

Rory congrats on the new truck, but yeah that sounds great once i get settled in and hopfully a job to haha, we should link up and hit some trails and go shooting. i cant go to crazy as im still stock..

 

which way you headed up there?


Fyi going through bottom of south east Oregon is a terrible road of nothing.

 

I've driven up there a number of times in 2wd or where 2wd would have made it. The winters have left a lot to be desired recently. But I've also driven that road (and 55/21) a number of times when it's been nasty and you would be in a bad spot if you were 4wd. Especially when it slows to a crawl and you have to get going again.

Good to hear it! I'm sure it's getting hectic finalizing anything.

Have you looked at houses or just planing to rent till you get situated

Looks like we will have to get a treasure valley meet going on here soon! I'm always out past nampa running trails in the owahees or in the mountains finding trails.
