Yeah white did cross my mind.. I think that I have seen a few with the super white running boards. I thought also that it would be really tough to keep looking clean. I should have taken them off to paint but I really didn't have anywhere to hang them and I was afraid that I would scratch them up putting them back on. I know that I left some missed areas where I couldn't quite get the spray can into. But it did come out nice even though I used a spray can.

true but have you ever looked at the front flaps while someone is going down the highway? they are flapping way back in the wind....so air is for sure hitting them or they wouldn't move at all.

No, I meant I thought they didn't come in 255's? Maybe I'm just thinking that they don't come in 255's for 16 and 17 inch wheels.

yesterday i picked up my new stock bumper from the body shop at my dealership. 80 bucks for a coat of silver to match and i think it looks great. no more mismatched paint!

    the way i bought it:

    DSC_1299_zps106c8839_fc1992eaee71974d64e3f243ca104e2383c2149a.jpg

traded for stock and new paint:

then this morning i turned over 18k:

and then did the "fogs anytime" mod using writeups found right here on this awesome site!

You replaced a steel bumper with a stock bumper? Seems like the oppisite of what most people do.. looks good though!

    thanks i agree

haha, i know. i prefer the stock body work. i won't be doing any serious off roading so i didn't need the heavy body armor bumper.

i traded with member Drainbung for his stocker. his is magnetic gray and i just stripped the plastic bits off and sent it to the dealer for silver paint. the body armor bumper matched his truck much more appropriately than mine. :D
