Does anyone have anything to say about the nitto terra grappler? I'm looking for an aggressive looking tire that is still good with noise etc. Also, feel free to suggest others!!

Have had them on three different trucks. Very happy with ride and wear. Will buy again when ready for new tires, on my 12

Tony, I'm looking for 265/75/16. Does anybody have any complaints about the milage as well?

I just bought a set and really like them. They have a nice aggressive stance and ride well. I noticed a little road noise at about 65-70 MPH, then it dies down at higher (and slower) speeds. And when I mean noise, it is not much at all. A nice hum that is easily drowned out by the stereo. I took them on a back pack trip last week and went on a fire road that was tore up. A normal car would not have made it. The tires and suspension were superb. I would recommend them and I am happy with them. Pics:

Had them, they gave me about 45K. Mileage? I've only ever had 265 so I can't compare but it didn't change for me since I got rid of the crappy stockers. I can say that they did better than my BFG AT's. Those did eat up some MPG.

Y'all are super helpful. I noticed my milage sucks with my BFG's as well. Maybe these will be a better option. I do love the aggressive but reserved look. Pics are awesome!

I had a 285/60/18 Eload set and they were good and the 265/70/16s I have now are better since both trucks were prerunner and this set is C load so they are lighter and easier for the 2.7 to spin. Better mpg by a couple on this truck from them being smaller/lighter. Ran some GY Duratracs and Silent Armors but came back to the NTGs because they were more practical for my uses and setup. Never any issues with wear or noise, got close to 55k out of the first set on the 05. Ones on the 08 are fairly new.

We put them on my wife's T4R TE.

The 4R hasn't left the pavement yet, so I can't speak to their offroad ability. I expect them to see some snow covered switchbacks in December, so I'll have a better formed opinion then. For now, I can only talk about on-road characteristics.

Nice, smooth and quiet. We put them on immediately after getting the vehicle, so I can't speak to the MPG change. However, we are averaging about 20-20.5mpg combined city/hwy.

Mine have ~20k and they look like Day 1. Bit loud on the highway, but c'mon...you're not rollin' a benz.

I'd second this idea, I don't know what the price difference is but they have such similar tread patterns I wouldn't be surprised if they are made in the same place. I love my at2's but haven't had them long enough to say if the 65000 is realistic or not.

I'm running 265/75R16 Grapplers and I couldn't be happier with the ride quality both on and off-road. When on the streets it hugs the pavements pretty well and in my opinion they aren't that loud. On the dirt they give great traction so I cant complain there. I've used them in a little snow up in Colorado and had some fun. I would wait to pick yourself up a pair if you can on @NITTOTIRE instagram they are promoting the new "grappler 2"

Had them on my 02 prerunner for 60k miles. When I took them off they could've gone another 10-15k. One other thing I never had these tires rebalanced from day 1. Best tire I've owned.

I've heard great things, got 4 of them sitting in my garage. As soon as my lift goes on, they're going on!
